Alright, lets talk about high school senior portrait sessions real quick. Apparently, Three Pennies has a different outlook on senior portraits than most photographers. A four foot tall plastic 2011 prop doesn’t seem to be the best way to truly capture a students personality. My senior portraits didn’t even make the mantel because…well… I never wear a tux.
So, Three Pennies is initiating an official halt to tacky senior portraits and offering sessions that tell the story of the actual student. If you play basketball, you should have photos of you actually playing basketball, not just palming a basketball looking “tuff” in some studio. The best part of high school are the experiences, so Three Pennies wants to recreate some of those scenarios and take photos that will capture…you. Whether you wakeboard, hike, kayak, read, play video games, or just have a favorite hangout, Three Pennies wants to capture the personalities of seniors in the environments that they love.
But for now we wanted to show you some featured photos of a past senior session. We will definitely be posting more in a few weeks along with our 2011 senior portrait promo. Feel free to go ahead an contact us if you want to reserve a date because spring will be here before you know it!
