Each one of our Three Pennies’ brides and grooms have such a great story and as photographers, we get the unique opportunity to show their love and relationship through their stylized engagement session.

We met up with Alex and Charlie only a few months ago and loved how they have this laid back take on life mixed with a simple desire to be with one another. The two of them are naturals in front of the camera and also were willing to cut up a little for some really fun shot! Our stylized shoots usually take us to places we have to adventure to, and this one was no acceptation; driving through open fields, wondering through waist high grass and stepping in some not so awesome things. All this excitement is part of the engagement session and Alex and Charlie far exceeded our expectations. We simply had a blast with them.

Alex and Charlie’s wedding is just a few weeks away and we are already looking forward to spending another day with them!

From the beginning we new that Nalee and Daniel would fit great with Three Pennies. They both have such an endearing love for one another and knew that was all that matters. Throughout the wedding day they never got caught up in all the hustle and bustle, but just enjoyed the fact this was THEIR wedding day. Even when Daniel’s suit was accidentally swapped at the tailors they were both in great spirits.

Nalee and her bridesmaids brought the beauty and Daniel and his groomsmen brought the laughs all through the day. Their wedding was a true celebration of the love these two have for each other. Three Pennies was blessed to take part in such a beautiful wedding.

Hope you enjoy the images!

When we first grabbed coffee at Octane with Katie & Carson, we knew these two had a great story. So adventurous, Atlanta can barely contain these two except for when they’re working at the local Patagonia or REI. Katie’s parents have some property right on the river up in beautiful Hiawassi, Georgia. So it was only fitting to have this dreamy location as their backdrop for their stylized engagement session. We rounded up some fly fishing gear and waders and headed out. The Georgia mountains were a perfect surrounding for these two, nothing but open air and a rushing river.  We loved the entire afternoon and honestly wished we could have spent more time with them. Katie’s incredible mother made the best meal (which we still need to get that recipe from her) and we all sat around for a good bit hearing about each other’s lives.

Three Pennies is blessed to have Katie and Carson in our lives and we very much looking forward to their sweet wedding.

From the first time I met Kristen + Joe over coffee, I knew they were the perfect match for Three Pennies. Fun loving, easy going and so excited to marry one another! As we chatted about their vision of their big day, I could not wait to see it come to life; and as you can see, it was more than beautiful. Kristen did an amazing job thinking over and creating the very personal and intricate details from the first look to the exit in that pretty light blue convertible.

We couldn’t run out of things to take photos of, but what we walked away loving the most was the way we captured how much they loved each other. What a dream to be able to share all this happiness, pretty things and what we thought was easily the best day of their life!
